Pick up from your hotel, to transfer you to Luxor Airport for departure to Cairo. Arrive Cairo Airport, meet & assist as our representative will be further assistance to you. Then drive to Giza Pyramids one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, Mykerinus and see the Mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient pharaohs, which was discovered in 1912 carved from a single piece of stone, it is a lion with a portrait of a Pharaoh's head, it is also believed by many to be a likeness of Pharaoh Kefren and this tour includes visit to the valley temple facing the great sphinx. Then enjoy an excursion to visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-roman period in Egypt, learn about the great Egyptian civilization and the mummification art in ancient Egypt. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. You will visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city. Then onto the old Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon. Built over the ruins of two towers of the fortress the church of St Mary or more commonly know as the Hanging Church then onto St Sergius where it is said to be the resting place for the holy family. Finally after finishing your tour transfer to Cairo Airport for departure back to Luxor with transfer to your hotel in Luxor.
