Full Day Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
 

Pick  up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan , then drive via air-conditioned modern vehicle to Kom Ombo temple stands right on the bank of the Nile between Edfu and Aswan, and it was called both "House of the Crocodile" and "Castle of the Falcon". Kom Ombo temple built during the Greco-Roman era, Kom Ombo is home to an unusual double temple. The Kom Ombo Temple is unusual in that it is a double temple, with one side dedicated to the god Haroesis and the other side to Sobek. Each temple has its own entrance, court, halls and sanctuary. The temple is believed to change colours as the sun sets. The design is almost perfectly symmetrical, with two side-by-side sanctuaries and two parallel passageways leading through the outer parts of the temple.

Then you will proceed to Edfu temple it was built from sandstone during the ptolemaic period, it is the bst preserved temple in Egypt with it's constructed that make use of natural sunlight. Edfu temple contains windows and well that includes a variety of religous and battel, the temple refer to falcon headed god Horus. Edfu Temple consists of traditional elements of Egyptian Temples of the New Kingdom, together with a few Greek elements, such as the Mamisi, which is situated to the west of the main entrance of the Temple (Mamisi means “house of the divine birth”). After finishing your tour drive back to Aswan directly to your hotel or Nile Cruise.
